Orr, John Herbert
Aug 19, 1911 - 1984

Began manufacturing magnetic recording tape after World War II, marketed under the brand IRISH. Founder of Orradio Industries, Inc., which became the Magnetic Tape Division of the Ampex Corp. in 1960, which became Quantegy, Inc. in 1995.
