Keleher, Geoffrey W.

November 19, 1936 -- February 26, 1995

Geoffrey W. Keleher was born in Brooklyn, New York, on November 19, 1936. He majored in physics at Newark College of Engineering before serving with a fighter/bomber squadron during the Korean Conflict. He later continued his education in business administration while working for the Army Research Laboratories, then joined N.A.S.A. on the X-15 Program. In 1967 Geoff accepted a management position with MacKenzie Laboratories, Inc., a manufacturer of audio-visual equipment. During his 17 years with MacKenzie, Geoff rose to the position of Executive Vice President. In 1975, while he was still with MacKenzie, Geoff founded an independent agency called Design Factors to offer marketing services to small manufacturing firms. In 1983, Geoff resigned from MacKenzie to manage Design Factors full time. From its Southern California office, Design Factors now serves as regional sales agent for a group of nationally respected manufacturers in the sound, signaling, security and audio-visual industry.

He is survived by his daughter, Allison Keleher Crutchfield; his son, Timothy James Keleher; and his brother, Peter Downs Keleher. (Ed. Supplied by MacKenzie Laboratories)
